You know about this secret place that only you and a select few know about, and it was fine until it became mainstream and really popular everybody suddenly knows about it, that’s kinda how I feel about tumblr now, before we know it’s gonna be like friendster here in the Philippines, I hope not, some will hate this post but whatever.

A typhoon came yesterday named Santi, I woke up at around 4 am, and it was pitch dark, the electricity was switched off and it was raining hard, accompanied with these strong winds. I turned on my laptop as a source of light, good thing it was fully charged. I slightly opened my window and took a peek outside, it wasn’t flooded yet goody! My mom woke up moments later and the rain and winds got stronger, water was building up outside and we were afraid that eventually our house will get flooded. But thank god it didn’t, around noon Santi was gone, but then it was super cold. The electricity went back and yay! goody, because I was gonna watch the simpsons treehouse marathon, but I failed too, it was super cold last night and I was so sleepy I fell asleep with the TV on, I slept in our living room with my doggies and puppies because it was way too cold in my room and our couch is oh so comfy and I was snuggled up with my blanket my pjs and a sweater. I woke up at around 1 am and the marathon was about to end so I just got to watch a couple epis. Hope tonight it’s not that cold anymore.
I won!
I am not really into joining contests but I just love the theme, I have been playing The Sims since its first release and I’m still enjoying decorating for the Sims 2 since there are just so many nice custom contents out there, My sims actually have better stuffs than me haha. Proud of myself for trying out for this contest, I was not expecting to win, since it’s my first time after all.
On upgrading to Sims 3… mmm I dunno yet, I don’t see the need to upgrade right now, and I don’t like the way sims look there, maybe after 3 years I will.

Neighbor’s dog was noisy last night, and although I hate sleeping with earphones on, have no other choice. I cannot use the bose dock since it would have to be in low volume and that would be useless when I can still hear the dog, this helped me go to sleep, speaking of which, it’s time to sleep!
While its fascinating (and exciting!) that Evisu is evolving once again ~ and this time with newly appointed CEO/Creative Director, Scott Morrison, at the helm. As a former Paper Denim & Cloth junkie ~ it’s hard not to be excited to see what Morrison is doing to reinvent Evisu while looking back to their heritage… For those who forgot, Morrison was also behind Paper Denim & Cloth as well as Earnest Sewn. While initially those Evisu Seagulls on the back pockets make me envision a denim lifestyle that never quite fit my own… when they sent over a few, i fell in love. They denim feels incredible as ever, just softly broken in enough, yet hugging you in all the right places… and the subtlety of the back pocket designs was just enough to grab your attention, but not enough to slap you in the face like so many can lately… (yes, i’m a little over the over embellished pockets, but also like pockets to have a bit of character!). Perhaps the most fascinating aspect of Evisu when i started looking into their heritage, was the evolution of the Seagull… and how the line came to be. It’s fun to see Morrison looking back at the heritage of the japanese line even with the separation from Evisu Japan.

NYC’s Type Directors Club is the host for Type as Object, an Exhibition featuring 3D objects that @houseindustries has derived from its 16 years of “creating a tangible experience around its digital type. House has spent much of the past 16 years freeing letterforms from their rigid typographic confines and introducing them to the three-dimensional world. From the ridiculously impractical to the infinitely functional, Type as Object is an exhibition of these items and the products they have become.”

I actually created their prints for my sims 2 house hahaha, sims 2 feeding my design obsession just a teeny bit, since I can’t have it all in real life. From my screenshot, the wall prints, you can order them on their website. But I am satisfied with just having it for my simmies.
Rash, rashes, rashes all over! I woke up this morning in a good mood, was about to sit down and eat breakfast when something bit me on my back, I’m guessing it’s those huge ants, it bit me thrice, few hours later… Allergic reaction! I have rashes on my face my legs, my butt! Itchy all over!, I could not go out and buy an antihistamine, what’s worse our house help just left yesterday for her one week vacation in her province! I called my Mom, and she told me to eat sugar and take a bath, now I am still kinda itchy, but my face does not have rashes anymore, and my ears are not as red. I was panicking earlier, because what if I am deathly allergic? Hypochondriac moments. But what if right?!
I am super thankful that during the Ondoy typhoon, my family and I were safe, it flooded but it was only ankle height and it subsided around the late afternoon, plus our electricity was not switched off. Seeing all the victims, I can’t help but wonder how I am going to react if I am in their shoes. Some lost their families, their homes, their pets, it’s too painful. I was so worried that day, because one of my dogs, he’s pretty stubborn, and I don’t want to leave him behind.
You see during typhoon Milenyo around 3 years ago, it also flooded in our area around waist deep, and I was at work that day and got stranded, I got home really late and everywhere, it’s pitch dark, I don’t know if my mom and the others are okay, and thank God they were.
I am grateful that I have my family and dogs with me, and I just hope that the unfortunate ones will be given the courage and the strength to move on and rebuild their lives, although it would be difficult. We Filipinos are known to be very resilient people. I very much agree to that.

Great poster design. The movie doesn’t look bad either.

Positive and negative can only attract
And I’m caught in a trap
And I’m helpless
You need me and I need you
So what can I do?
I just want the truth
I miss college. Nope. I just miss the schedule. I miss how I get to choose my schedule. I’m home already by this hour and I can take a short nap...
I would definitely have to place this photo in the top ten best images on The Internet.
